Hello, I do not have a medical background.I am working a dead end job right now. I have my Ged.I am looking to get into the medical field as a LPN or RN . I heard there are paid apprenticeship programs. Where you get a salary as you learn the trade. I have been researching the internet and have not been able to come across any accept one in Reno NV. I am currently in Tennessee . I am looking for hospitals , nursing home ,etc that offers that. The city or state does not matter.I am willing to relocate . I do not have a promblem with signing a contract for specfic amount of time .Any info is greatly appreciated.Thank you

Goodgirl1977, I noticed no one has replied to your question. I am not sure about the apprenticeship programs, but I know that alot of places you work will have tuition reimbursement. I work for Renal Care Group, a dialysis unit in Florida. I know they have units in Nashville and I think in Knoxville also. After you have worked there for a year, you pay your first semester and after it is over and you get your grades and turn them in and get reimbursed. Then you can use that for the next semester. You have to sign an agreement to work for them for so long after you get out of school, but your school is being paid for. Hope this helps. Any questions let me know.
