4 years in...

I have been a RN since 2005 and am wondering about my career thus far. I did OR right after graduation for 9 months. Since then, I've done LTC (very BRIEFLY), home health cna supervisor, and psych. I believe that I made a mistake by not going into med/surg as a new grad because even though I've been licensed for 4 years, I still don't feel like I have a lot of knowlege or skill. As a nursing student, I enjoyed my sr. year med/surg rotation, but didn't want to feel overwhelmed with caring for 5-6 patients as a "real" nurse. However, after trying different specialties, I still haven't found my niche. So, I think that I'm going to "bite the bullet" and get some med/surg experience. I'm a little nervous, but I know that I need the experience...and who knows, I may even like it. Any thoughts or suggestions?
