Nurses Activism

Published

Hi. I have been reading some of the forums in the past couple of weeks since I have stumbled across this website. I am currently in the business sector transitioning to nursing school. Does anyone have any good advice for me? Also, is there anyone out there that is not particularly great in math, but was able to get through the math courses?

Thanks in advance.

Exactly! I skated by with ok grades in math, and a haunting D in Algebra II! I was never as happy as the day I did entrance testing at school & scored high enough in Math that I didn't need a separate math. (still don't know how I did that!) I can handle little bits of math--with a trusty calculator at my side but I was dreading a whole semester! If your school does require a separate course--use any tutoring they offer, get through it and get on to the good stuff!

Welcome to the board, Ed :D
