A friend was born with birth defect, around 3 fingers missing.
When I asked her about taking up nursing like I plan to do, she said someone told her it's not allowed.
I find this so hard to believe.
Can someone shed a light on this?
She can write and carry anything like a normal person.

Of course its allowed - she'll just have to work around this as I'm sure she has done all her life.
  5. Well if its not "allowed" someone better tell one of my life long friends and the State that issued his RN license. He has a birth defect that affected his hands. He has only two fingers on one hand and 3 on the other. And he's one of the best nurses you'll ever find.
