what it like to be a Neonatal nurse practitioners

I'm still researching for the type of NP that I would like to become.

Can you share your experience on your clinicals as an NP neonatal student, was it more or less challenging then getting the BSN degree?

Are your duties as neonatal NP the same or does it differ much from an RN working with neonates. Can you describe what a normal day would be like at work.

Is it hard to deal with the unfortunate death of neonates that you are caring for.- I worry I might get to attached and break down if something unfortunate was to happen to one of the neonated that i'd be caring for.
