Questions about NP Independent Practice

Hi,

I didn't know where to post this and this seemed as close to my question as possible. I'm on the verge of accepting a position as an ER NP with a national staffing co. working in a local ER. My question.....I've been told I will be an independent practitioner. So I've been wondering, does anyone know how much of your income needs to be set aside for tax purposes, what expenses can be written off, etc. Any info would be helpful. I'm also looking for a CPA to help me manage all this stuff.

Independent Contractor or Independent Practitioner. There could be a difference .
