Advice for new FNP - per diem?

Published

Hi everyone!

I am a new FNP grad, and also preparing to take my boards.

I am also starting to do a little job searching. I am currently on active duty and working in a position that is non-clinical. I do not have the option to switch over. So...that leaves per diem work as my only option. Other than working with a health care recruiter to help me find a position...any other advice? :)

I am working on my DNP in palliative care, so I will also network with my preceptors on anything that might come open...

Thanks so much...looking forward to the discussion.

What about contacting area hospices/home care to see if they hire per diems?

Thanks for your thoughts. This is what I was thinking as well. :)

I am open to other ideas if anyone else has suggestions! Thanks again.

Happy New Year!! :)
