Nurse Manager Needed!

I know this may seem crazy BUT I am a 2nd term nursing student and I am having trouble getting a nurse manager to answer 10 questions in an interview. Papers are due on Tues and I cant seem to get one that is not busy when I am not! Any advice from anyone or is there a nurse manager on this site that wouldnt mind answering a few questions?????? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

My old nurse manager is the absolute BEST ever she would be more than happy to answer questions I enclosed her e-mail address b/c she is not a user for this site- Let me know if she does not respond within a day or 2 let me know and I will call her. Since the servers recommended not using names just put maybe in the subject heading 1N BMH Nurse Manager recommended by rhayes and that should get her to respond. She really is the best I have ever met!!

Oh my goodnesss....thank u sooo much. I am gonna email her now! This paper is due on Tues and I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Its only 10 questions reg job position, etc. I did not think no one was gonna respond to my thread, YOU are heaven sent. Cause time is winding down. I am emailing her now!!!

I just called her and left a message on her answering machine to make sure that she checks her e-mail soon. Let me know if she does not respond by Sunday night and you can send the questions to me and I will call her and get the answer. It is so funny that you said that about being heaven sent b/c that is what I think about her- she truly is one of those special people.

Well, I tried to email her but I did not get a response yet. Lord, I hope I am able to reach her. Meanwhile, I have been still trying to get a nurse manager here to interview. But here are the questions:

1. Who is responsible for making work assignments?

2. What factors are considered when making work assignments?

3. How is work assigned? (e.g. by tasks or client)

4. Identify your stff mix. ( combinations of RN's,LPN's, UAPs, techs, etc) required to provide quality care.

5. How is communication regarding client care and issues managed?

6. How is case management used in your facility to provide client care?

7. What is your role in staff conflict management (as nurse mgr)?

I also have to obtain a copy of her job description, my Leadership instructor says its mandatory but the nurse mgr can email it to me as well (she can just type it). I emailed her with these questions as well with my phone number if she doesnt want to type. I will be checking this site on and off during for the next couple of days. Paper due Tues morning, Thank u again.

She emailed me back with the answers to the questions. I am sooo impressed with this site. I am gonna write my paper now. Thank you for looking out for me, you dont know how much I appreciate you for making this possible for me. I was really having a hard time finding a nurse manager to interview. Thank you again.
