Hi all,

Just thought I'd start a brand new thread for the UNC graduate nurse program as I don't see one up currently. Application deadlines are October 18 for the Feb 2014 start...I submitted mine a few days ago and will be faxing my transcript tomorrow to complete the process. Just wondering who else has applied and if anyone has info to share regarding the program, experiences, interview, selection process or whatnot...

I also applied! Curious to see if anything happens considering past threads have said that ~800 people apply for ~60 spots... Haha. I guess we'll find out! ;)

Did you receive notification that your application is complete: app, letter of intro and transcript? I sent everything in but didn't get a confirmation. I know they said oct 18 is the deadline or else you're disqualified.

I did! I got an email from them two days after I had submitted the last thing (the letter of introduction). I wonder how long after the deadline it takes to hear anything (good or bad)... I honestly have no clue but it would be nice if it was within the next ~2 weeks or so. Maybe I'm dreaming! ;)

Oh phew I got a reply also...found it in my junk email. Same here!! Hope it's soon...heard great things about this program.

I applied as well....All is says for status is: Under Consideration since 10/21.

Anyone know the time line for the New Grad program? Like when they start notifying candidates for interviews...etc.?
