Cpcc nursing applicants for 2014 spring semester

U.S.A. North Carolina

Hello everyone!! I just handed in my application for the 2014 spring semester at central piedmont community college. I was wondering if anyone else has handed in their application and would like to share there teas scores as well as their points. I am super nervous. I am also going to apply for mercy school of nursing as well. I hear that there program is awesome. Cpcc has really high standards for the teas exam, so I'm worried my scores won't be good enough. My over all individual adjusted score is a 75%. My math is an 87%, science 75%, and reading is an 81%. I have 17 points overall with straight A's.

Hey everyone! What did y'all think if orientation? I was the girl with the gray GAP hoodie on the first long row. I thought they'd have us introduce ourselves but maybe they are saving that for first day!

Good Luck Everyone! I am currently going into 3rd Semester at CPCC. I am also currently the President of ANS for CPCC and will be in to introduce myself and the program to you on Jan 14th :) You're first semester you will love Mrs. Cronell and Mrs. List!

Danidello,

I recently did my teas test and my scores are similar to yours. I trying to see if I have a chance of getting accepted in CPCC RN program, so if you don't mind me asking, did you get accepted in the program with CPCC?

hey, name is Bunny. just took my test today and was VERY disappointed. i scored a f********** 48.7%. i am so down right now. can u me some tips or rather how did you study for the TEAS test? answers would really help me out and i will really appreciated.

Bunny, what I did was find how much each subject is worth. From there, I practice and study a lot on the subjects that I know i can perfect on. Like for say, I love math, so I know if I practice math I can get 100%. Then reading, I know if I practiced I can get at least 85% on it. Lastly english, I know if I can remember the rules to grammar and spelling, I can get at least a 85%. Then I calculated to see what I need in science to get at least a passing overall score. I don't remember the exact calculation, but I think it was minimum 50% or 60%. The reason why I studied like that is because I didn't want to waste my time studying a subject that I will never understand without actually taking the course. I much rather invest my studying time in the subjects that I know I can get a perfect grade on and will be able to afford to fail on my weakest subject.
