Is anyone currently in, a graduate or beginning the nursing program in the fall at Wagner College in Staten Island? How is it? Please tell your experience

Curious as well! I was accepted to their 2nd degree nursing program and would like insight from a student if possible!

You got accepted for 2nd degree in the fall? When did you hear and when did you apply? I applied early February --so nervous!

@khenel i had an interview with them around the second week of March, and was accepted last week good luck!

also I had applied in February - right before the deadline!

Yay! Scheduled my interview for April 8 :)

@petunia03 Congrats on the acceptance! I also interviewed at the end of March and now checking the mail every hour. Do you mind sharing your stats? Also.. silly question.. but does the acceptance come in a big or small envelope? Thanks!

@khenel good luck on interview! @irnamag ty! the acceptance came in a regular small envelope.. just like two pieces of paper not like a big packet or anything. as far as stats my undergrad gpa is about 3.45 and my pre-req gpa is about 3.5 - 3.6. how do you think your interview went?

I think the interview went well. I was so nervous though, but overall have no regrets. I really like the program setting, my interviewer said they really make an effort to get to know everyone in the program since it's small. This is my top choice to I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully we will all be classmates in the fall!

Also, I had a chance to speak to someone in the program a few months ago. They have absolutely nothing but good things to say about it. All of the professors are either nurses or doctors. If you are concerned about commuting, most people car pool. Overall the curriculum is very doable as long as you manage your time well.

I was just accepted earlier this week and I will probably be going there. The people I spoke to were really nice and she was saying how it is 15 months but it goes along the same pace as the regular 2 year because there are 3 full semesters and the summer just goes a little faster. The program has won awards and they mentioned a few times how it's one of like 12 schools to win some excellence award. They emphasis one on one interactions and have a lot of stuff implemented to keep you from falling behind. They have 2 tutors for each subject who took the course before. The woman I interviewed with said they want to cap the second degree to 50 seats for the fall. Overall I was very impressed and I like it. But it is pretty expensive :(

Hey, I have my interview Tues April 22nd, can anyone tell me how your interviews went? Or the type of questions they ask??
