schools for a transfer student?

Does anyone have any information on two year RN programs in the NYC area? I have been on the wait list here for a year, and class sizes are limited to 35 students.....all pre-reqs are done, I'm considering a move to complete my education! Thank you!

CUNY is the city university system and they are commuter schools. You dont live on campus but their costs are a fraction of the private colleges. If you had a job in any of the many unionized hospitals or nursing homes in this city, after you worked for them for a specified period, they'd pay for your RN education if you agree to continue to work for them as an RN. How much they cover per year - full costs or capped percentage - depends on the union contract at that facility. So if you look for a nurses aid job, for example, to work while going to school, be sure to ask that question & take the job at the facility that pays the most in education benefit! And THEN, once you get your 2 yr degree, work as an RN and use the same benefit to let the hospital pay for you to return for your BSN! Same deal.
