Did anyone take the Anatomy 1 at MEC over the winter course? I was planing to take it and than on the spring to take Anatomy 2.. Would anybody share any info.

Im trying to apply to nursing schools, so far i have both chem classes, i need anatomy 1, 2 .. micro bio , and Nutrition.

It will be very intense, but I took A&P 1 over the summer, and I found that the intensity helped. Just be prepared to spend all of your time on it. If you calculate the amount of time you may get a better picture.

Typically, a three credit lecture at CUNY requires 3 hours in the classroom and 9 hours prep in 15 weeks. The lab should require 3 hours in the lab and 1 hour at home per credit in 15 weeks. So, you would have 45 hours of lecture, 135 hours of prep for lecture, 45 hours of lab, and 15 hours of prep for lab. So in all, you should budget approximately 240 hours for this class. That comes down to 10 full days, round the clock or about 50 hours for each week.

This can work, but make sure that you are able to put that time in. As a pre requisite, this grade is really important (no pressure).

Thank you for the information. I am taking it with ****,, Could you provide any info such as are lab exams all to be memorized ? any multiple choice or you have to know them on top of your head?
