Child abuse/Infection control course

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi everyone!

I am currently licensed in NJ but also plan to apply for my NY license so when I'm done with my RN to BSN by late 2012, I can just start applying right away.

Are the child abuse and infection control exams at the end of the course difficult? How many questions? Were the questions NCLEX style questions or just knowledge type?

They are not difficult. Its a class, and discussion, they want you to know the information, and so much is nursing common sense, it scary. There are organism issues, and all that, but really, if you are an nurse, its like a seminar with a quiz. Dont stress yourself. If you can get through uiversal precautions and transmission of infections, you will be fine. Good Luck.
