hi i was wondering what is the difference between che121 and che201 at BMCC? which would i be able to use when applying to other nursing schools(or even like med school) and why does BMCC nursing not require CHE while most other nursing schools do?which brings me to another point: why do the prerequisites vary so much between schools? why is there no standard set of prereqs as in med school? it makes it more difficult to apply to as many schools as you want becuase then some schools want more psych, or nutrition, or sociology, etcc while others do not
When I was applying to different nursing schools, Chem 121 and 118 is the Chem they wanted to fullfill the Chem prereqs. Thats was for ADN or BSN programs
so che121 is organic bio chem all-in-one? i though most nursing schools require general chem?
Aldephi is the only school I believe require Chem 122, everyone else such as LIU, Molloy, and NYU all you need is Chem 118 and Chem 121. You just have to decide if you can't get into BMCC program, which school you'll apply for and take the Chemistry you need for that particular program.

its not the normal bio chem or organic chem
its more like a general chem for bio/health students
a lot of schools, NYU for one, only require 1 semester of chem, others require a full year
some require the "normal general chem" that all science students must take. other schools are fine with the health/bio chem
BMCC requires AP 1 and chem is a requirement for AP 1
so even though they don't mention chen as a requirement, its really a "hidden" requirement
