is finding a job easy??

Part time is considered working 2 1/2 days a week (I believe it is 20 hours a week). They get partial tuition reimbursement (I think less than $1000 but not really sure) and some benefits. Full time gets the full amount of tuition reimbursement (which at Winthrop is $3500) and full benefits. They also have grants for students that you can apply for. Regardless of what type of employee you are (FT, PT, PD) your prescriptions (as long as they're carried by the hospital pharmacy) are always free at Winthrop.

Thanks for your quick reply :D. Do the $1,000 or $3,500 tuition reimbursement plans apply per semester of college or per year of college? Also, do you know if they offer anything like that for a MSN degree down the road? Just curious. That's really not bad. How do you like it at Wintrop?

I think it is per year and I don't know how many degrees you are eligible for. it may be for just one degree... I'm not sure. Winthrop is a good hospital and they seem to treat their nurses well. Many of the nurses are happy there. I like it and if I don't find a job in Queens which is closer to where I live, I will stay there as an RN.

Is there a difference in pay offered for CNA's with EKG and Phlebotomy certification?
