Rutgers Traditional BSN

U.S.A. New Jersey

Has anyone else applied to the Rutgers New Brunswick traditional BSN program?

I'm actually a school-to-school transfer applicant (In SAS at NB right now) and I won't hear back until mid to late June, but I am already on the edge of my seat because I know how competitive it is.

Nah I'm not that far along, I still need a few more lower division classes which is why I have time to finish a minor (I could even double major, but I'm not sure about that haha). I actually didn't want to go any further because it's harder to get in on the clinical level. I feel like I'm somewhere between a sophomore/junior... I'm going to have a weird schedule! haha

Have you competed any science classes yet?

yup i've finished all requirements for nursing except I just need HIP, micro, and patho ... i've been constantly checking my email these past couple of days! lols i hope we find out soon!!

Nice!! All of the people I meet haven't completed any sciences really, so this is nice! I'm starting patho soon and I still need HIP, Cultural Dimensions, and a literature elective to finish the lower level classes.

I'm SICK of checking my email at this point...it's been worse since my friend got in because now every day I'm expecting something :-/ it's so stressful. I just want to know already! I still can't believe they aren't done reviewing them yet.

lols, have you heard if anyone else heard?

A girl I know that's in the program already told me that her friend got notified today that she didn't get in and another friend hasn't heard yet either.

Did you hear back yet? I haven't :(

I was just coming to post here and I saw that you posted! I found out yesterday that I got in! Esteves called me and said that she was holding my application because she wasn't sure if I was trying to enter the program as a sophomore or a junior since I have so many credits already. I knew I would technically be a sophomore because I still need HIP and cultural, and I'm also taking the time to finish a minor anyway. She asked if I wanted to be in the program and I said yes (of course) and she said that I was admitted! A few hours later I got an email and my status page updated!

I actually called the office a few hours before I talked to her and Denise told me that she was still making decisions and they hoped to be done by the end of the week, so I'm assuming they still have some spots available. I still only know one other person who got in, everyone else has been denied or are still waiting. Good luck!!! I'll keep you in my thoughts!

I was wondering how were you able to register for nutrition, patho and any nursing requirements before you were accepted into the program?
