i just got called for a per diem position for a float pool and was wondering how much the position usually pay?

is it a good hospital to work for?

Can I ask how does the Per Diem work at HUMC ? Are they guaranteeing you so many days per week or just as needed ?

Not sure about the Per Diem pay....but i have heard good things about working there overall.

per diem, the recruiter told me, guarantees you 24hrs of work per month. any extra would be if you're needed.

Did you ask for Per Diem or is this what HUMC is offering now ? Meaning do you know if HUMC is doing any FT hiring.....I see positions on its website....but I am told they were not really hiring.

then again...not many are......they say because of the economy...many older nurses are not retiring and opting to stay on.

Just wondering if you can confirm the hiring status.
