Burlington CC Nursing Program questions

U.S.A. New Jersey

I am currently doing my pre-req's. I was wondering once I have completed them, is there a wait to get into the nursing program?

They dont call it a "waitlist" at BCC... atleast that is what they told me when I went to go speak with them. But I have heard that it is very hard to get into their Nursing Program. It is better to have all of the pre-req done with good grades and you need to have the application post marked with the correct date or they throw away your app. What I mean by that is, if you are applying for the Jan 2012 start date then you need to have your app postmarked for April 1 2011 (I think that was the date) and no earlier. (Atleast that is what I heard).

Bergen Community college does not have a waitlist. You have to have the correct pre-reqs (go in and speak with someone or attend a health care info session) Then, you apply by the dates (ask to be sure). Then, there is an entrance exam. They choose the top 80 or 90 people, and those people get in. They might wait list 5 people in case anyone does not accept their spot, but there is no wait list like in many schools. Go in and speak with an adviser to be sure you have the correct info.

Bergen Rules ! :-) j/k

Im sorry. I think that I was wrong about them not calling it a waitlist. They do waitlist people, but I dont think they give you a number.

Any advice out there for a level 2 student entering GI/GU in the fall? What can I study this summer?!?
