Hi!! I am going for my NET this Saturday in hopes of starting my LPN program at Lincoln Tech in Mt Laurel in March 2010. Has anyone attended recently/or will be attending that can give me some info? I read alot of horror stories on this site that have made me a lil nervous. Can someone put my mind at ease?! Please. :sniff:

I just took my net test today and will be starting in March as well in Mt. Laurel. I've been trying to get reviews too on here and they all say the same thing....the program started just a couple of years ago and it wasn't that great very unorganized (and my admission rep told me that too) but now it's better. The only thing that concerned me was that you only needed a 55 to pass the net test, it seems really low which makes me worry about asking students for help or notes lol. And the price is pretty ridiculous!

yeah, the price is pretty ridiculous! have you done your financial aid yet? i went last week and didnt make out as well as i hoped i would. but i'm trying to stay positive and think of how awesome its going to be once i'm a nurse! so you are doing fulltime days too? it would be nice to have a friend waiting for me the first day. :D

I go next week for financial aid, I'm hoping whatever isn't covered by financial aid I can get a loan for, but I hope it's not too much lol. Yeah I'm doing fulltime days too! I need to finish as soon as possible, I need a job! I was going for my RN at BCC but I've been put on the wait list too many times, once I get my lpn at least I can work and gain experience while going to school for my rn.

well good luck! you sound like you have the same idea as me as far as getting a job and getting your rn. thats my plan. well, my name is rachel. (like you couldnt tell from user name! duh) Whats yours? Where are you from?

Sorry I forgot my name doesn't show up lol. I'm Nicole from Roebling, it's between Bordentown and Burlington (most people have never heard of it)

ok, Nicole. I'm not sure I know where any of those towns are, lol. I'm from Seaside Park, which is by Toms River and Brick (Ocean County). It takes me about an hour to get to school.

LOL ok! Wow Seaside, that is far. I am about 20 minutes north of school, well hopefully 20 minutes. The school's on route 73 which can be like a parking lot during rush hour, but we get out at 4 so it shouldn't be that bad. Plus I think my rep told me they were moving to a new location in March to Rt. 38 but that road is just as bad lol.

Yeah, my rep is Cindy Herbert...who's yours? She told me it was scheduled for March but probably wont be til April or May, lol. I'm hoping traffic wont be terrible..but usually Im ok cause I just jump right on 70 and take that the whole way home.

So how old are you? What kind of things are you into? I'm 31 (look much younger, lol) and I will probably the only white girl covered in tattoos at school, haha! You wont be able to miss me on the first day.... ;)

Ha Ha, I have 1 tatoo lol. My husband is covered in tatoos though so it won't be a shock for me lol. I'm almost 27 and at the moment I'm not into too much because my two daughters consume all of my time! Girls scouts, tball, cheerleading that's pretty much what I'm forced to be involved in, but I love it.

Yeah, I know the feeling! I have a 10 year old son and 5 year old stepson. Me and my husband spend most of our time with them playing drums or guitar (well the boys, not me! lol) and video games. I would love to have a daughter...there's been some talk about that for after I get done with school.

Ah, kids are great, arent they? How old are your girls?

My girls are 5 and 6. My husband plays guitar and a little drums as well, I don't have a musical bone in my body though. We just got the Wii for Christmas and all 4 of us are somewhat addicted lol. We bought our first house 2 years ago so any spare time we have we do projects around the house, which has been fun cause neither one of us really know what we're doing!
