Possible relocation

  1. 0 I will be relocating in the spring/summer of 2006 and am trying to decide the location. I now live back in Wisconsin after having tried Massachusetts. I prefer the smaller, not tiny places close to bigger urban area..(Trying to combine two different living lifestyles :chuckle ) I am now working in what is basically nursing infomatics with an emphasis on hemodynamic monitoring systems for the cath lab. I have experience in the cath/EP lab, pediatric ICU, and small town ER. I know a bit about the Nashua area from my stint in Massachusetts. Any information on good hospitals, preferably larger ones, would be appreciated.

    Hello!

I currently live in the Upper Valley wich includes Lebanon/Hanover area. There are three major hospitals here...VA, DHMC and Alice Peck. The area is beautiful. Would you be relocating with a family? I am not sure what the single life here would be like...not much...pasha

Depending on what kind of lifestyle you want... the Lebanon area has some great hospitals that Pasha mentioned, but it's pretty rural up there. I love that area, but if you want something with more access to urban areas, you might want to try the southern part of the state, Manchester (Elliot Hospital or Catholic Medical Center, which is big on cardiac care) or Nashua (Southern NH Medical Center, I believe). This area is also convenient for commuting to Boston, if you were so inclined.

Oh yes, it is very rural...I moved here from the midwest and came out here for a visit and loved it but it wasn't untill I actuially lived here for a few weeks that I discovered how rural it was. We do LOVE it here but it is a real lifestyle change. pasha
