pre-arranged schedules

I a, appyling for the SPring 2011 CSN_RN program and I have been following the post about acceptance and I was wondering what is a pre-arranged schedule block. Does that mean they pick the day and time you go to lec./lab/clinical. Thank you in advance for all your helped. Your posts have really made me comfortable with starting the program.

You pretty much got the idea. At orientation they had different half-sheets of paper on the wall that were all different "options". These options were to prevent students from making a mistake when registering and also to most likely stop students from fighting over a class as soon as registration was opened. You look at as many as you can and then write down (or take a picture with a camera phone) which ones you want.

You draw a number when you sign in and get your packet. Then they started with number one and then went up to the amount of students they accepted into the program. The later clinical's were gone first and distance education (online) classes I assume were left. So if you were the last number you were most likely getting a distance education NURS 101 class and an early clinical. When you chose the option they gave you a sheet with the class call numbers day and time so you really don't have to jot down all the information about the classes. NURS 125B (Pharm) was not in any of the options so on the 4th of may everyone was supposed to register for what ever class they wanted to. You registered for the classes in the option you chose in your when registration opened. You are not auto enrolled in the classes like UNLV does for its first semester students.

Also part time students were allowed to chose first since they did not distinguish options from full time or part time. Which I think they may have just forgotten to do as they seem flustered when it was mentioned. I wouldn't expect that again next orientation.

wilneka- i was in your class micro lab last semester! we were in the same group! glad to see you are applying for this spring.!! me tooo! just waiting on my last grade to be posted to my transcript!

Yea i remeber, I'm praying that I get it in. I guess 25 was the cut off last semester so i hope that its the same for next semester because I have 26 points.
