 I am currently a student at CSN, and I will be applying for the RN program this fall (Sept. 1). When I complete this semester I will have 25 points, but I don't know if it's enough. I am debating whether or not to retake the NLN (I scored 120=1pt. the first time ) for more points, or if I should retake one of my science courses. I don't know which one would carry more weight, or if I am ok and don't need to worry about it at all. So much stress, I have to register for summer classes on Tues. morning and I don't know what to do. Can anyone give me some insight?

I would call the school and ask what the lowest points were that were taken for this spring class. I heard that it was 23 pts for full time and 25 for part time, but not sure how accurate that is. I am not sure what your GPA is, but you will probably only be able to bring it up 1 more pt. by taking one class over. I would suggest seeing if there is still time to retake the NLN instead. At least it is only $50 and if you get a higher score you can bring your pts up 1 or more. If you score a lower score they will take the higher of the two. Good luck
