NCLEX - PN Failed 1st try

Nursing Students NCLEX

1st post on here so take it easy! I graduated 01JULY15 and took the NCLEX- PN exam 15SEPT15. I failed it with 206 questions. The thing about it was, that I thought I could wing it and just pass the NCLEX with minimal studying and just going off pure knowledge that I thought I had. Well folks, that's the wrong way to go. I used NCSBN.org soley and skimmed through the 3 and 6 week course I believe it was; and mainly just did the practice questions at the end of each chapter. Totally not the best thing to do.

Thing's I'm doing differently is using the NCLEX 30 day prep study outline and I'm in my second week and doing 60 questions a day. Then the next week it bumps me up to 120 questions a day. I just think the repetition and the tracking that the NCLEX Mastery app helps me stay on track and focused. After that app I think I'm going to do NCLEX 3000 test bank and review saunders for content review. So hopefully this works because I do want to take it in the next coming months. Preferably in February.

To all the community of allnurses.com I thank you for posting your tips/suggesstions/advice. It help me ease my anxiety to know that there are people just like me out there that have failed and passed! So thank you for sharing. Soon I'll be able to share some good news with you guys as well!
