I have taken my boards this past friday and I went through all the questions!!!!! Needless to say I am a NERVOUS RECK!! Any one have a similar situation and what happened?

HELP

Hi,

I am not clear on what you mean that you went through all the questions. I will tell you my experience from boards years ago. I was nervous before boards, had an out of body experience during boards, and became anxious to the point of experiencing an anxiety attack after boards. When I passed the exam, I was high as a kite for weeks. Most of my peers experienced anxiety to one degree or another over boards. While waiting on results, I even went to the point of drafting plan B & C in permanent ink in the event plan A (passing boards) didn't work out. That calmed me some. Whew! what a time. Hang in there. Perhaps you can find a diversion to calm you. Best wishes.

Hey I just took my boards on June 22. I went with two friends and out of six people 4 of us ended up taking the whole 265 questions the other two shut off @ 75. you can pass/fail anywhere between 75-265. I am just keeping my fingers crossed. I think it is rigged to make some people go the entire way. Another girl from my class went to the same test site and sat at the same computer of my other friend who locked out at 75q and only had to answer 75q. I have talked to seven people who have gone the entire test and still passed so there is still hope for us. Good luck

I took my nclex RN on June the 16th and had 118 and passed my husband's computer shut off @ 75 and he passed. I also have a friend that had all 265 and he passed. Out of my entire graduating nursing class 80% have taken the nclex and none of us have failed so far and everyone has had a different number of questions. Most of the people in my class have had either 75 or 265 and all of them have passed. Good Luck!

according to the sc state boards, nclex, and kaplan the computer keeps asking you questions until it determines that you are competant. you could pass or fail with any amount of questions. i had 75 questions and i still agonized until i got my license about ten days later. i felt as though i had failed when i left the testing center. with 265 questions your pass/fail judgement lies on your final question and whether it was above or below the minimal competancy level. the test is not rigged, how you answer the questions determines whether or not they give you more questions. a few of my classmates got 265 questions and i know one failed, the other two passed. another one of my classmates got 75 questions and she failed. it all depends on if you demonstrated minimal competancy on the questions you answered. best of luck, trust me you would still be a nervous reck if you got 75 questions (it means that you are either very competant or very incompetant).
