stlcc waiting list?

Does anyone know how often STLCC mails out the letters that tell you how much longer your wait is to get into the program? Is it twice a year?

I don't know much about orientation. I only know it will be sometime in October. I turned in my little white card with the big check mark saying that I will be attending the nursing program spring 2015 on Monday. I hope to have some information soon.

Anyone starting at FP in the spring? I went and talked to the person who's in charge of the list at FP, and I was told that I might start in the spring, but it depends on if other people (who are ahead of me on the list) complete the prereqs, and I guess some of them haven't? For sure, I would have a spot in the fall. What makes me nervous is seeing that there's an orientation in October, and it's already the middle of October. There is a lot to do before January if I were to start then! I hope I hear something soon.

I'm starting in Spring of 2015! I was told it would be a 2-year wait, but it was a year. Very nervous and excited.

Do you know if we have to do the fingerprinting now, or does that come later, in the 3rd semester? I think the website where we have to do all of the background check stuff is a little unclear on that.

You know, I am not sure about that. I'll have to look it up or maybe even email the teacher. I'm halfway finished with the paperwork ?. How are you coming along??

Someone at American Databank told me that STLCC does not require fingerprints at this point in the program. I would still ask, in case someone gave me the wrong info. It's confusing because their site mentions fingerprinting.

I've submitted all of the background check stuff and did my drug screen. I'm still in the process of getting my TB tests, vaccines, titers, etc. I saw that in order to be compliant, the flu shot has to be sometime between Oct 1 and Nov 1, which I didn't find out until 10/30! I keep thinking I'm going to forget to do something important and get kicked out.

Mae0218 yea I don't remember hearing about the fingerprinting. I am almost finished myself. I have all my vaccines but still need the ppd test and I did notice the dates for the flu shot just yesterday as I was getting my physical done. I got the flu shot yesterday so I hope that is ok. I took my bls class last night and passed. So all I need now is the drug screening. But I need to submit EVERYTHING into their website.
