CWE stands for Central West End, the area around the hospital complex, more or less.

I live about 1 block from slu in the Continental bldg. Nice but expensive. CWE has some more resonable prices but still it can be pricey. Cheaper places can be found in south city. I would check with locals of st louis before making a choice many area look good but at night they are a crime ridden area. DO NOT take anything north of Delmar in st louis. That area has a higher crime rate. BTW Call SLU see what they say.

Did you go to SLU, expo4u? I was thinking of just living on campus in their flats at 374 which is located at SLU itself to make life easier. Its a little pricey though.

I took some general classes there. I am going to do the RN-BSN classes this January. I have never been inside the dorms, so I can't say what they are like.

I just talked to the accelerated coordinator, Anna Hanavan, last week Wednesday. She said that there was a record number of applicants this year and they are sorting through all the applications. I am applying for junior entry which is even more competative. From what I understand they are doing a slightly different process this year so letters may not be sent out until late November or December, so don't worry if you haven't recieved anything yet.
