We just moved to Independence Mo, from kansas. I am an IV certified LPN. I hope I am wrong but it looks like the hospital jobs around here are all for RN's. I would sure like to find a job on a med surge floor. I have reading any info I can find on the MO state LPN licensing for IV certification. I hope I am mistaken, but in ks there are five classifications of drugs and lpn can push. It it true LPNs, with IV cert. cant push any drugs in Mo? If this is the case no wonder the hospitals dont want LPNs. I have worked in nursing homes, and orhto rehabs. I woulld sure like some hospital experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

try Midwest Division, Inc. - Home Page They have several hospitals in the area (The medical center of Independence and Independence Regional are two) they hire LPNS.
