I got accepted in the ASN program this fall 2013. Did my drug test and paid the acceptance fee and background check. Just wondering what's next? Anyone here from Cox?

You can do it any of those ways...it is what suites you best! I got all my prerequisite at Cox but you don't have too. Some of my classmates did OTC prerequisite to save money. I did the ASN program (may 2014) and took a couple of extra classes at the same time, so I could finish my BSN quickly. I graduate at Cox with my BSN in May 2015 the same time my friends that started their BSN program at cox. So I will have a year experience and my BSN in May. Was it hard? Yes! But was it worth it...yes! If you need any help please ask away!

I'm just worried that the ASN program there is going to be hard to get into and that I'll not be able to get in.

Don't count yourself out! Apply!

How competitive is it getting into the ASN program?

I believe if you are around the 3.6 mark you will get in.

Only advice, I was given this, and concur by paying it forward. "keep your head down and don't let them get to know you." This from a graduate that didn't participate in ceremony or apply to work for Cox. Chain of command will typically support the decision of the person below them. Go elsewhere if you can.

Wow, couldn't disagree more...I have two degrees at Cox (asn and bsn) and working on my MSN at Cox College. I had a better time at Cox when I was involved. I was apart of committees, SGA, and was a Ambassador. I really enjoyed volunteering at most of the open houses. I think everyone is different and some people like being involved and some don't...neither is required...you can do what you like!
