Hello!!

As far as I know there are a lot of openings in all of the hospitals in the Twin Cities. You should have no difficulty. If you live in Plymouth, you could work at Methodist Hospital, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital or Fairview Southdale would all be easy commutes. You have a lot of choices. I would go on the websites and may even be able to put in your applications. There is also Hennepin County Medical Center, which is a Level I trauma hospital in downtown Minneapolis. Also, Fairview University (the U of M) would be another option for you, but a longer drive.

Hey, let me know if you want any more details. Personally I work for the Allina System of which Abbott Northwestern is a part. (United Hospital in St Paul, is where I work). I love Allina, they are very pro nurse, have strong Union Representation and great benefits.

Welcome to Minnesota. Good luck in your move!!!;););)

I ditto DeeDawntee. Allina is a wonderful company to work for. I work for an allina hospital further south..but I agree they're great. THey treat their nurses well.

I'll be graduating in may 08. any info on pay, benefits, patient ratios, cost of living in twin cities hospitals? any recommendations of hospitals? it seems like you really enjoy the Allina system.
