Not sure what you mean but extremely generally speaking....HelloI`m working in cardiac surgery intensive care unit for 5 years.
I`m wanted know more about:
Post OP 1)Hypertension
2)Hypothermia
3)Other your understand
Hypertension: You want to control this because you don't want a high blood pressure ripping apart fresh grafts.
Hypothermia: In the OR the patient's temp is purposely taken down dramatically. Often when the patient is delivered by the anesthesiologist to our RN's post-op, their temp is ~35c (at times, lower). We sometimes warm the patient slowly with a Bair Hugger. Temp affects BP, gases, bleeding, etc. As the patient warms, the BP drops. The RN must anticipate this and IV drips must be adjusted accordingly.
Other: Really don't know what you mean by this.
