U of D Mercy

U.S.A. Michigan

Hello Folks,

Just wondering if there's anyone whose currently in their BSN program, or any that plan on applying. I have a few questions. I'm in the process of applying and would like to know how many students they accept? Also are they as competetive as other local nursing schools? I was wondering because I know that their tuition is alot higher than most, and I'm wondering if that causes most not to apply.

Thanks in advance.

Specializes in Trauma/Burn ICU, Neuro ICU.

The tuition is high because it's a private school. But you probably knew that.

Actually...

I have a friend who is graduating from their second degree program this week, and she was able to get enough scholarships and financial aid to significantly reduce the tuition. I don't know the specifics, but I was under the impression from her that it is fairly easy to bring the cost down.

The high cost is one of the reasons I didn't even consider that option, so I was really surprised at what she told me. But like I said, I don't know the specifics. If you're interested in Mercy, it wouldn't hurt to look into it.

Thanks so much ladies
