   I make $46.00/ hr on my 2nd year of nursing. I work 12 hour day shifts and included in my salary is the evening differential paid thoughout the whole 12 hours. This is in San Francisco.

4. 12 hr. shifts vs. 8 hr. shifts.

   I am trying to decide if it is better to work 3 twelve hour shifts a week or 4 eight hour shifts. Any opinions out there? This is for a labor and delivery unit.

   I am a new nurse in L&D and I need help with my cervical exams. I heard about a tool being sold in the internet to help practice with measuring cervical dilation and effacement. Does anyone out there know the website of such tool?
