I go there and love it! Definitely worth it in the fact I will have my BSN before many people who are on the wait list for community colleges get in at all! Plus chamberlain has the exact same accreditation as schools like ASU GCU MCC etc... A lot of other nursing schools (such as one in particular that starts with a B and is close to chamberlain don't) that's why they lie and try and give you other incentives.
Here is a list of schools az that are able to sit for the nCLEX upon completion. What you need to make sure you are looking for is that they are accredited by a higher learning accreditation as well as being regional because then schools like asu will accept transfer credits I'm case you want to further your education.
Any questions about classes teachers or Clinicals let me know I'm in adult Heath II right now expected to be done September 2014
Hey I'm at the Atlanta campus and I am getting ready to start clinical for fundamentals for the next session. Is there any advice you can give me and tips?

I tried that but it didnt give me the those books only the nursing courses.......
Okay I think the reason why is because that class will be taught by devry. You get the ebook automatically which is $80 that will be applied to your account.

Can any current student tell me what the name of the A and P 1 book is and what supplies are needed for the labs......I am waiting for registration but would like to get the books ordered now.......thanks in advance
You should be able to go to www.chamberlain.edu and go to book store. You will be able to select the class and it will tell you what books are needed

I know the HESI at Chamberlain consists of math, reading, grammar, vocab, anatomy, chem and biology- however the admissions advisor said they really pay attention to the scores on math, reading and vocab. I know the overall is a 70 or 75 to pass but i am so scared the bio and chem will bring my score down and therefore the percentage will be lower...how were those two sections? anyone have an input ? thanks ! I have a 3.6 in Broward currently but i got an 81 on their hesi yesterday and they make me wait 6 months to retake it !!!! Now i can't start the program until may 2014 !!!! waste of a year so i want to get started already somewhere!
The sections are different and have their own set of scores. The don't include the science section. So if you score low in the science it doesn't matter. It won't hurt you.

What are the requirements for Chamberlain?
GPa 2.75 and not sure what the hesi score has to be.

I got a letter and call saying I am in and need to start pre-enrollment, I was just wondering why does it take so long to get a pre-enrollment appointment?
They may have a high number of people they are accepting. When I get my call I had my appointment set up for the week after. This was back in December.

I took it online and I enjoyed it...I say that because I am not no good at Chemistry and having an open book really helped. The labs are virtual which is cool too.
Thanks so much for your reply. I went on a got the online class and now you have eased my nervousness.

Thx for yr reply except I'm trying for Sept not May. Which means if I apply now I have to take the Hesi now and I can't study for that right now. how was the Hesi by the way? How long did u study? What did u use to study with?

Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com
Since your in school now it should not be hard for you. Like she said it is fairly easy. I had to review over math just to make sure I set up equations the right way. They only pull your grade from math, English, and comprehension I believe. The science isn't included in your score.

I am taking nur101 and chemistry for the first session, then wellness and health and microbiology for the second session. My nur101 will be online though.
    How is chemistry?
