Ok, I have a really silly question. I see the word preceptor used on all kinds of sites. Is this just a mentor/supervisor/trainer? Or is there something else, some other connotation?
Jtwynn: how did you get hired as a PCT at a hospital? The ones in our area require 1 yr experience. The problem is, you can't get experience without working! They don't let volunteers do any real patient care work.
