Hi! Congrats to those of you who made it through the video interview. I did not get a chance to apply this round. I'm interested to hear about this video interview... what kind of questions were asked? Anyone willing to share their experience? I was also wondering if anyone could remember the name of the job posting. I read through some previous threads and some people said they couldn't find the position. I plan to apply for the next round so any information would be helpful Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone! I was curious to know if to your knowledge, stanford hired anyone who was currently in a entry-level masters program and hadn't graduated yet. I am a licensed RN, hoping to apply for the fall cohort, but I will not have my MSN and BSN degree until December 2014. Do I have a chance? Please let me know! Thank you in advance.
I have no idea how many people applied. I've heard above 200 people apply to these programs... but I basically found that number searching around online so I'm not sure if its correct. All I know is that the programs are all super competitive no matter where you go... I hope spots open up also. I feel like every year it will just get more and more competitive!
I forgot about the different emphases... 13 is for Adult Acute Care. I wonder how they decide how many people to keep on the waitlist. It sure is nervewracking. Luckily I've been looking through past threads of allnurses.com (2007-2008), and it looks like some people on the waitlist did get accepted eventually. I didn't note what emphases they were, though!
I am also on the waitlist at SFSU. I emailed them asking what position I was right after they sent out the decision notice, and they got back to me today. Apparently there are 13 people on the waitlist. Very different than the 100 you said there was for the BSN program! Hope this helps. Best of luck to you and congratulations about USD.
I know this thread may not be followed anymore considering its 1 year later... but I plan to apply for the ME-CNL program for Spring 2012 and I was just wondering how you all like it at USF so far. I would love to know if you think the program is as great as I have heard it is. Please respond if you have time! Thanks!
I know this thread may not be followed anymore considering its 2 years later... but I applied for the generic masters nursing program for fall 2011 and I was just wondering how you all like it after having been there for 2 years now. It looks like you guys didn't receive acceptance/rejection letters until May... so I guess I have a long time to wait! Anyways, I was just wondering if you think the program is as great as I have heard it is. Please respond if you have time! Thanks!
