   Thank you so much! I got the answer to the exam question too. It is increased WBC, d/t the inflammation. But thank you for providing me with the good solid information that I wasn't finding. Or maybe I was to busy questioning everything. lol

   I have to agree. I'm an LPN and at the end of my 3rd semester for RN and it is finally clear to me the true difference between an RN and an LPN.

   Ok, is the WBC increased in relation to the heart failing? Trust me. I have been looking into this question for days. Apparently there is something that i'm just not getting. I know that WBC increase in relation to an MI.

   I appreciate the response. There is nothing in my text books regarding WBC related to hypovalemic shock and online I just saw that they are increased when an infection is present.

    I am currently in a bridge program and I definitely have to take more than 3 courses. Just be very careful because the last thing you want to do is pay for these classes and not be able to pass your boards.e
