   My hospital ER has this as well. I participated in it for the first time this year, and plan on doing it again. The "Teddy bear clinic" is a wonderful concept and great way to teach the children about the ER in a non-threatening environment. :)

   Actually, I believe the PCP is wrong about this. IF the patient is oriented, and proved to be fully competent to make his own decisions, he IS allowed to sign himself out AMA.....

   I studied for 2 hours each day. I had a part time job, and found that anything more than 2 hours above the time that I spent in school, just wasn't manageable.
