   Oh here in Stockton, CA..starting rate is about $22--24/hr for new graduates.

   Any state facility tend to pay more regardless what the position is. There are many opportunities for LVNs/LPTs in state psychiatric facilities. I dont personally work for the state of CA (yet) but my boyfriend does. He is an LPT and gets paid $28.90...

   I took my NCLEX-PN April 10, 2008 and still haven't gotten my results in the mail. I dont understand why California cannot expedite the results like other states. It's frustrating & mind boggling playing the waiting game!

   I took the NCLEX-PN April 10, 2008 and Im still waiting for my results. The computer stopped after 85 questions and I walked out of there speechless. So far my LVN class of 21 people is 100% pass rate, I hope & pray that i'll continue the passing...
