   one of the universities here is on a point system as well. i decided to go the cna route, for experience purposes.

   All pre reqs for City must be completed with a grade "C" or better. The combined GPA for pre reqs must be 2.5 or higher.

   I only need 1 prereq and all my general ed and district requirements are done. So I guess I will work on another degree while I wait.

   I know of a few schools that require CNA before you can start RN program.

   Southwestern - 1.5 years for LVN, 2 years for RN City - 2 years ADN RN

   I am prior military so him being gone it isn't a big deal for me. Our children are teenagers. I am starting my CNA and finishing up my pre reqs for RN program.
