not aware of any quota.. but more men are beginning to appear in the new sections.. I am not sure if it is the school or just more qualified male applicants. I am in the 3rd term and we started with about 25 males out of 144 students. Good luck.

My wife is a NICU RN and I have got to experience that already. It is very intersting and something I have thought about. I am very interested in becoming a neonatal NP.
24 yr. old father of a 2 month old here. 144 ppl. started the program last semester, 12 were guys. 3 have already failed out or quit. I am the only guy in my section. So that means 1 me and 23 of "them". Very intersting at times. Charles
I am currently in the ADN program and work full-time at Shands. I work 12hr shifts every weekend and 1 day during the week. It is challenging but not impoosible. Just stay focused and determined. Charles

Since you already have tele/ cardiac experience, I would check with Baptist Medical Center downtown. They have a state of the art "heart hospital". Might be of interest to you.
Hello, I am a 24 yr. old male ADN nursing student. My wife is a NICU nurse and we just had our first child 2 months ago... which is making studying very interesting. I am very intersted in the OR and emergency room. Charles
