Good website or book for refresher?

I graduated in May finally, after making it all the way to 4th semester, failing, waiting 8 months to re-enter the nursing program, and then finish up 4th and 5th semester. What I'm getting at is it's been a LONG time since I've reviewed some things. I was lucky enough to land a job on a Med-surg floor right before I graduated and I've been there about 5 months now.

I did retain a good bit from school that's helped me but on my floor we see SO MANY different sicknesses and diseases, it's hard to be new and remember enough from school on so many different subjects to feel confident. I feel like I don't know wayyyyy more than I do know. I read on this website all the time to try and expand my knowledge and learn from other nurses, and I try to refresh myself on things I've forgotten but it's hard to just sit here and think of everything I know little about, and then try to find info on it. If that makes sense lol.

So after saying all that, does anybody have any advice or maybe suggest a good book or website to somewhat refresh myself? Like something I could do from home.

Do you still have your nursing text books? I remember my first year or so after graduating, those things were still my best friends. If I saw something at work that I couldn't remember or wasn't familiar with, I'd take note and look it up when I got home. Of course, in a pinch, Google and Wikipedia are often pretty useful. Just be careful with wiki in general though. Info on there is just basically submitted by anyone on the net who wants to. Sure, they do get somewhat of a review process, but still not great. Especially things of a political nature, things often get skewed with bias on there lol.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I sold my books like an idiot.....needed the money. I may still have a few random books left though, I'll have to check. That's a good idea though. I've learned a lot but it just bugs me when I KNOW it's something I learned before and just forgot it. Would be useful if I were superhuman enough to remember it all I guess haha
