Anyone out there apply for UMB traditional BSN spring 2014?

I withdrew from QC due to illness in family so I'm not transferring any nursing courses. I plan on going back to school in January but want to see if I can get into umass. I graduated from umass boston in 2000 so I applied as a 2nd umass degree applicant, and it's a simpler process (no recommendations or essays).

I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope everything works out! How long would it take you to get a BSN there as a 2nd degree student? I'm a UMB alum myself and wish I had given the traditional option a closer look when I was looking at programs. Regardless, I am happy with the QC program- feel free to PM me if you have any questions about it.

Thanks armywife. The traditional bsn will take about 2.5 years for me but it's full time. I want to and probably have to work...so we'll see. I'll PM you shortly.

I applied to UMB CNHS as a intercollege transfer. The deadline was November 1 and I got an email nov 7 telling me they received my application and to allow several weeks for a decision. I am so anxious. Has anybody else heard back yet?

hey, I have a question for you. I also applied as a second degree student to the nursing program (I graudtaed 2012) for spring 2014. Called the registar's office today, and they informed me that the nursing program does not accept 2nd degree applicants for spring, only for fall. So I'm pretty confused as to why the UMB website says Nov. 1st deadline for any transfers, 2nd degree etc., yet they told me no spring acceptance. Have you heard any of this info? Or have you heard back from UMB in regards to your application? Thanks for your help :)

I've been excepted into Umass Boston's BSN program. I start Spring 2014 Next month. Has anyone else been accepted? I'm a transfer student @anniez12 I haven't heard of that. You should call admissions and question them especially if you have already sent in your application packet.

I was accepted as well! Are you attending orientation on Tuesday?

Anniez I was an intercollege transfer so I'm unsure about second degree applicants.

@anniez12 did you apply for the accelerated program since you already have a BA? I just saw on the website that the deadline has been extended until December 1 for the accelerated program.
