I have seen many posts on here but I have not yet found the answers to my questions.

I am apply to the Regis College nursing program in Medford and have questions about the Night/Weekend program.

What time are the classes, and what days?

I heard they are Thursday and Friday from 5-9:30

What day are clinics

I heard Sat/Sun 7-3

Can you work full-time and still pass?

You might have more luck looking on the Massachusetts forums. I went to LMH/RC and graduated last May from the evening/weekend program. The program has a great reputation in the area.

Class times vary depending on the course. They pass out the semester schedule on the first night. Generally classes are 2-3 days a week (sometimes Mon, Tues, Thurs, from 5:30 to 9:30). Some days class starts at 5:00 or ends at 10:00, but 5:30 to 9:30 is the most common time. Clinicals in first semester are Friday from 5:30 to 9:30 and Sat/Sun from 7 to 3. In later semesters they drop Friday nights and it's longer on Sat/Sun.

I worked full time 45 hours a week throughout the program and graduated with a 3.7 GPA. It wasn't easy but it's possible. I was able to study a lot at work and leave early on class/exam days. Now that I'm working as nurse there is NO WAY I'd be able to do it in a job like this. So it does depend on where you work.

Hi Frible001,

I have also applied to the night/weekend program. Have you already submitted your application packet? I'm still waiting to hear that they have received mine and that it is complete. I turned my co-worker onto LM and she is now in the program. She started in January along with another good friend of mine who I met while doing pre-reqs. They love the program.

I sent my application in on March 1st and have yet to hear anything, very frustarting

It would have been 3 weeks today since they received my application. I got the email on Monday. I thought I was going to get an email saying that they received the application and it was complete but I did not. I was concerned they may not have received my information but had I looked at my checking account I would have noticed that they cashed the check for the application fee. Give it at least another week. You'll hear something soon.

Well i emailed them today and they said they have not reviewed it yet, but yet they cashed my check on Tuesday, i don't get how they cashed the check but didn't not check if the application is complete. Im so nervous, I haven't applied anywhere else yet cause i was waiting to here from Regis. I have a 2.5 GPA, but over 1600 on my SAT's plus have taken all the pre-reqs

I know it's hard but don't worry they will get back to you. I know a few people in the program and it does take them 3-4wks to look everything over because they review applications in the order they receive them. They got mine on 2/22 and I just heard from them this week. How are your grades on your pre-reqs?

GOOD NEWS!!! I heard today that my application is complete, and it will be up to 8 weeks to here if i am in or not, have you heard anything yet?

Congrats..I'm going in for my interview next week. The woman from admissions was very accommodating.

When did you hear that your application was accepted, and it only took 2 weeks to hear back?

I hear once you get an interview your in!
