anyone get in? or have any insights on this school? I was accepted to go a 2 1/2 year bachelors program because I already have an associates degree. However, becker has the biggest price tag of all the schools im applying to (elms, hcc, westfield state)

thanks in advance!

I searched for this topic in the forums already but only found old threads

Any updates? I would like to apply for the asn program?

Both adn and BSN programs are good. Graduated from both.

I did the and then the rn-BSN. Not sure how different the 2.5yr program is

It turns out the advisor "meant" to say adn when se said 2.5 year bsn.

So after getting my facts straight I was accepted to beckers adn and bsn also but chose Adn because I'm an older student looking to start working as a nurse asap. I hope to do the rn-bsn program after right at becker if I like it.

oh and I was accepted to Hoyoke cc rn program but turned it down in favor of becker . I was Waitlisted at elms and westfield state

Hi, I'm wondering if you could provide some insight as to what the application process is like for Becker College?

I'm a non-traditional student and I've been out of high school for over a decade -- the SAT has also reformatted since I've taken it are the requirements the same? Will Becker accept college credits from other institutions?

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks!

Just so you know Becker has a very high attrition rate for their Nursing Program. I have several friends who are excellent students and did not make it - and are now top of their nursing class at different schools. This is something they claim to be open about - but this is the type of school which strives for a 100% NCLEX pass rate, with total disregard to their own students. Check the numbers and ask around the community.

Yeah everyone keeps telling me how tough becker is. I had a quinsig cc student say "wow I hear it's really intense!" I do consider myself to be an good student and so far my teachers seem very helpful. One of the reasons I applied was a recommendation from a friend. She raves about the program and say see even has her professors he phone numbers. I'm just trying to stay positive. Sorry your friends didn't make it though that stinks

They took many of my transfer credits! I held a previous associates degree from holyoke cc and I took my pre reqs there so now I only have to take the nursing classes. You do need to pass a TEAS test though which they offer throughout the year
