I am looking into the program (they only offer grad programs) and if I were to transfer there after my 2 years at CCBC Essex, the website says the tuition is $15, 372! Am I seeing this wrong or what? :eek: Hope not! That is a great price!

The last time I visited them, it was almost unreasonable! I think around $36,000 or so! (about 2 years ago)

Please let me know if you know anything about the tuition changes or just about JHU SON in general!

Um, unfortunately you are reading that wrong. They do offer a traditional BSN program which you transfer in after completing pre req and core classes elsewhere. Similar to UMB. The tuition is around $15,000 a semester-tuition only. That ends of being 60k for the last two years of the program. They do have a fair amount of scholarship money, if you qualify. Compare that with $3400 a semester at UMB and much less at some of the CC around.

Again, the folks at JHU do a wonderful information session- small and you can tour the facilities. It is a beautiful and seemingly well done program.

The link below features the cost of both Traditional (2-yr) and Acc. BSN programs. Personally, I think their website could be more clearly organized, to avoid confusion. Regarding scholarships/grants, the School of Nursing Grant is issued to those who complete a JHU Financial Aid application (internal school document, separate from FAFSA) and is need-based. I received a SON grant that covers 27% of the total tuition.
