I would so date a female CNA!

Hello all

Today was my 3rd day of clinicals and our instructor paired us up with 1 CNA to watch/help all their residents. I got paired up with this really cute CNA.

So I watched her do her thing and I was amazed! Not only was she an awesome, but she actually CARED for the patients. And don't even get me started on the way she handled incontenence and accidents. She made sure that the resident didn't feel bad.

I was thinking WOW. So after 3 hrs, our instructor paired us up with another CNA and I was paired up with this okay looking girl. Amazingly enough she had the same attitude as the first CNA I was paired up with. I was amazed and because of this she actually became a lot cuter!

Does anyone else feel this way? I feel like CNAs would make the perfect girlfriend! Unlike my other exs -.-

Before you interacted with them, did you feel that the CNA's were somehow beneath your dating status? Now that you've been exposed to them and found that they're people just like everyone else, you feel that they're worthy of your attention? I'm not sure what them being CNA's has to do with anything. Noooooo! Ofcourse not! I would never think that someone was beneath my dating status.

I know that CNAs are people like everyone else, I also know that they are caring. It was the fact that I got to witness this, which makes them so much more appealing to date. Now does this mean that I will only date CNAs? No. It was more of a compliment to the female CNAs out there who are usually under appreciated for all the work they do :)

My bad. I guess I did read too much into it. Seemed like the focus was on the fact that you'd never considered dating a CNA before.

Like caliotter3 said, be careful about dating coworkers (even though you're a student now and not a coworker). Sometimes it turns out wonderful, sometimes it doesn't. And if/when you're dating a coworker and things go south, it can make the workplace environment very uncomfortable for both of you.

But if you're not planning on working there, go for it. Just wat until you're off the clock to ask her. :D
