RCC lvn-rn advanced placement

Anyone here got their notification letter from RCC. I submitted my application last Jan 2010 via email. Until now I have not receive any notification from them. I called the enrollment specialist and told me that they will come out on the last week of June. But I heard some got their notification as early as May. Is that mean I was rejected.

I looked into their program as an lvn-rn applicant but got discouraged...this was back in 08-09.

The counselor informed me about the 20/20 program and I was not interested in working and going to school simultaneously. It was a rumor that this route would put you ahead of the pack. Im not positive if this 20/20 program is still in effect though. Like many cc, they are overwhelmed with hundreds if not thousands of applicants. :uhoh3: :uhoh3:

I dont know where u live, but try Valley and chaffey college out there. I have since moved to LOs Angeles and got accepted into an lvn-rn advanced plcmt at Harbor College. I got accepted once i completed the 3 lvn-rn transition courses. :yeah:

Even if they are impacted i would hope they would have written to you, they should have just have started summer school, i would try calling again. it never hurts to ask different people the same question and see if they all give you the same answer. Or try talking to a counselor. Dont stress, and dont assume that you didn't get in, dont give up on your future so fast!

It never hurts to have a back up plan though, so maybe check into other schools in the area. Dont borrow trouble, the school could just be running a little behind because of starting summer school and finishing the Spring semester.
