One of those nights

Have you ever just had one of those nights where you have good intentions on studying, and then you sit down to tackle that book and you just cant do it! I seem to be having one of those nights. I mean I did get one chapter done but thats it! I just cant seem to focus. Its so frustrating. I don't know whats up with me, I normally don't have this problem. Instead of reading and making my notes I just find myself doing other things, so I think its safe to say I should just put it away for the night and try again tomorrow. Luckily my test is sill 2 weeks away but I have 6 more LONG chapters to go through in that time.

When that happens to me I have to take myself out of my comfortable environment and go to the library where I am less comfortable. I find myself reading for hours then.

I live in such a small town that there isnt a library for like 30 min anywhere near me sadly. Also Im mainly on a 3rd shift schedule when everything is closed and something like a coffee house is too distracting for me. Trust me I would LOVE a library to go to!

I see your point

Stella_Blue,

Where do you go to school? I am an LPN pursing my BSN as well. Does your school give any credit for being an LPN? I have to bascially do all of nursing courses I took in LPN school all over again. I have to work and cannot do a RN bridge program and so I am attending Brenau University in Gainesville, GA which has a weekend/eveing PT BSN program. I am not in the program yet, have to complete 8 more classes before I can be considered.

Well unfortunately I am not pursuing my BSN (yet!). I plan on doing that within a year after I graduate. I am going through Ivy Tech in Indiana. I did graduate from there for my LPN so I got full credit. It will take me about 10 months to get my ASN. After that it will take me about a year to get my BSN at the college Im looking at, but hopefully by then my RN job will pay for it. Good luck!
