I am about to start the LVN to RN program in October at the Galen college of nursing. Any one else on here attending or planning to start in October? I would really like people to talk to.

I started Galen April 2012. I was supposed to be done this past June, but I had a horrible experience. I had to take a nursing class over because I was 4 points away from passing but the teacher wouldn't change my answers on a couple tests that I and a lot of other students got correct and she marked them wrong and when I went to talk to her about it she wouldn't show up at the meetings she scheduled or email me back. So the second time I took the nursing class I passed with a B but had computer issues which I kept telling the teacher and she said it's ok other people are having problems too. End of the term she fails me because I had issues with posting on the discussion posts on time. I worked super hard and nobody wanted to help me with the issues.

I am sorry that this happened to you. That sucks. Did you try to talk to someone higher? I hope that this doesnt happen again because this education is not cheap.

I am hoping to start in October as well. I have been an LVN for about 7 months. I am in the process of moving from anchorage,Alaska.

I hope to find out if I am in next week. I take my Pax-RN this Thursday.

So I took and believe I passed my exam. I am

now just waiting on my advisor to call be back. So is it the Overall Score at the top of the page, or do I tally up the relative score down below? Either way they are both over the 96 needed. I really hope I get in!

How was the test im so nervous I take mine this week

It was ok. I'd say to study STUDY your science, especially physics. Review your percentages and and simple algebraic equations. On a scale from 1-10 on difficulty I'd honestly have to give it an 8. Just being honest. I kept chanting " Just get a 96, just get a 96." Luckily I scored better than that, but I was just hoping to pass. Good luck. Is this for the San Antonio program or the Florida one?
